This is the manual install files as the XML package AiRS system is no longer running.

Requirements

  1. PHP 4.1.x and higher
  2. MySQL 3.23.x and higher

Installation

You will need to setup a MySQL database using the web management tools provide by your web host, make a note of the hostname, username and password for use later during installation.

  1. Extract all files within the upload folder from the 1.1.2 download, to a location on your computer.
  2. Upload all files within the folder to the desired location/directory on your web server.
  3. Browse to the location of the PHCDL files; e.g. www.example.com/phcdl/install/index.php
  4. Follow the steps on the screen to complete the installation

Once complete, make sure you can login to the control panel correctly, if successful delete the install folder from the server.

Upgrading

Backup all existing previous version script files of PHCDL before continuing, remember to backup the database also in case something goes wrong with the installation.

  1. Backup your config.ini.php and filetype.ini.php
  2. Delete all files (except for the image and upload folders) within the main PHCDL folder and all other sub-folders to insure a clean upgrade.
  3. Extract all files within the upload folder from the 1.1.2 download, to a location on your computer.
    1. Copy your existing config.ini.php and filetype.ini.php back into the include folder
  4. all files within the folder to the desired location/directory on your web server.
  5. Browse to the location of the PHCDL files; e.g. www.example.com/phcdl/install/upgrade8.php
    1. Note:If you are upgrading PHCDL from a much older version, you will need to run the previous upgradeX.php files, for example if you are upgrading from PHCDL2, run upgrade2.php sequentially through to the last one in the folder. (upgrade3.php, then upgrade4.php etc)
  6. Follow the steps on the screen to complete the upgrade
